MUSICWeekly Choir Practice- 7:00-8:30pm, church Sanctuary, every Wednesday from early September to mid-June.
Sunday Morning - 10am gathering to warm up and practice the Introit and anthem for worship
The United Church choir is a welcoming and spirited group who enjoy one another as much as they enjoy singing God's praise. All are invited to join them throughout the school year or for seasonal events such as the Yule Sing in December, Easter in the Spring or special music offerings throughout the summer.
Annual Choir Events:
September - Rally Sunday
1st Sunday of Advent - The Yule Sing, the choir offers carols, songs, skits, stories and wassail to bring community and church together to sing, enjoy and remember the true meaning of Christmas
Dec. 24th - Candlelight Christmas Eve Service
Easter
Spring - Gospelfest, a gathering of area choirs to "preach the word" through the gift of gospel music.
June - Choir Recognition Sunday (final Sunday before summer) choir reprises their favorites of the year
Summer - offerings of special music, vocal or otherwise
